Our educational exchange was strengthened by the development of the Ohio Exhibit, “Where Ideas Learn to Fly.” It offered an opportunity to showcase the work of the study groups by sharing experiences illustrating how the principles of Reggio Emilia are implemented in Ohio classrooms and pays tribute to the teachers, children and families working together to learn and grow.
In addition, OVL sponsors professional development programs such as the Inspired Teachers Institute. After years of study, reflection and inspiration, the Ohio Reggio study groups came together to create an exhibit showcasing the work of teachers and children across the state.
“Where Ideas Learn to Fly” debuted in October 2004. Although the exhibit has been retired, its relevance and provocation continue to provide opportunities for reflection.
